Bowie Ma

Head of Fundraising and Development

Bowie Ma is a violist from Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor and Master of Music (Viola Performance) at The Juilliard School. She previously studied at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she was admitted at age 15 as the youngest diploma student and received a full scholarship. Her principal teachers include Samuel Rhodes, Carol Rodland, and Felix Ungar. She has performed solo recitals in Hong Kong and across mainland China, including at the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Lee Hysan Concert Hall, and the Changchun Film Studio Museum. She participated and was the group lead in the Juilliard Gluck Fellowship, performing in community venues such as hospitals, senior centers, and churches.

Bowie has been featured in media interviews and performances on Hong Kong Phoenix Television, Metro Radio, and RTHK. In addition to performance, she served as Co-Chair of The Juilliard School Student Congress. She is the founder of the Bowie & Music Concert Series in Hong Kong and has organized concert tours in Asia. Her awards include the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship, as well as scholarships from The Juilliard School.
